The Haughty15 August 2021, 18:36Nice picture, but I didn't get the title. Is that a specific kind of bird? I googled and found this gem, but I don't think that's what the author had in mind.
Dump her! no more adventures!15 August 2021, 6:45huh?
Locomotive13 August 2021, 20:38Such a fun series! But shouldn't this be in the tiny puzzle category? (not really ;-)
Carousel10 August 2021, 3:58it's this kind of thing.
Red Fox3 August 2021, 7:52me too. But I can see the title image too.
Squirrel28 July 2021, 5:57the neighbor puts out peanuts for the squirrels. They are very cute, but they dig up my potted plants to bury the nuts.
Panda23 July 2021, 20:16171 so far. Of course there are also 678 dogs, not counting those with titles of specific breeds and 947 cats. I always think there are way too many snails (135) and 51 seahorses. Some animals are just more photogenic than others I guess.
Spirit23 July 2021, 19:46That one was all about finding one square and then nibbling away at it one square at a time until is was done. Fun.
Phone20 July 2021, 19:39It's one of those newfangled touch tone phones!
Duckling20 July 2021, 19:23Your ultracritical reply did not disappoint. ;-)

and I bet you I'll hang up that picture,
If someone will drive the nail.
Toucan15 July 2021, 19:30for some reasons this one was SO fun to do. Very clever puzzle and very funny picture.

Lots of places where you get a little stuck but find a clue that lets you fill in just one square that it leads to a big reward.
Angry dog15 July 2021, 6:39you mean Jack Russell Terrorists?
Cherry14 July 2021, 18:57All the puzzles on this site are solvable without guessing. They check to make sure before they accept the puzzle. But I'm with you on this one. I had to use hints.

A bit of advice. When you get stuck, use a hint instead of guessing. Then look at the hint they gave you. It's not just random. It's the next logical step in the puzzle. see if you can figure out how you could have gotten there yourself. That will help you improve your skills.
Tulip11 July 2021, 21:59username checks out. ;-)
Bird10 July 2021, 21:29As of this time, there are 644 puzzles with the word bird in the title. There are also 13 robins, 25 titmice, 35 gulls, 45 doves, 46 herons, 55 flamingos, 125 crows, and 110 eagles. I'm sure there are lots more specific birds.

There are a total of 38236 puzzles. It's quite rare and wonderful when someone comes up with a new subject. On the other hand, I'm about to go for a hike. I don't think I'll complain if I see too many birds.
Strawberry7 July 2021, 21:48I liked the way you had to nibble away at it to solve the puzzle. very tasty.

Rebus (in Russian)24 June 2021, 19:58A rebus is a puzzle where a picture stands for a part of the sound of a word. Since this rebus is in Russian, it's not really going to work for English speakers, except as a nonogram puzzle. Here's an example of some simple rebuses in English:
Fireplace20 June 2021, 20:42different. It was easy, but had some nice little surprises.
Toad12 June 2021, 3:07you got it right
Snail11 June 2021, 19:41one of 133 of the same title. This one is quite cute and amazingly recognizable for such a small puzzle. I wonder what it is about this subject that makes it such a popular topic for nonograms.
Lyre5 June 2021, 19:54To be fair, there is a lot of repetition in general, and Sean is extremely prolific. There must be a couple of hundred snails on the site for example, and thousands of birds and flowers. But it would help if it was more than a week or two between two puzzles from the same author that were so nearly alike.

(that said, I'm a big fan of Sean's, since he makes a lot of smaller scale black and white puzzles, my favorite.)
Snail5 June 2021, 19:34A new take on a very popular subject. It was very slow going for a while, and I didn't see what it would be until the very end.
Tree5 June 2021, 19:01This is my favorite of all the puzzles by this NEW author. Welcome. I'm so glad to see such a lot of tiny puzzles that are challenging but quick. All of them ended with satisfying pictures. That's not easy to do. Keep up the good work!

Cup19 May 2021, 4:30Nice Chalice!

The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle; the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true!

But there's been a change: they broke the chalice from the palace! The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon; the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true.
Sheet17 May 2021, 7:11it's a pretty picture, but I found it very tedious to do. Just a bunch of picking up individual colors in order. If you are having trouble seeing the difference between the colors, try setting it to "choose a color by clicking on a number"
Crown16 May 2021, 16:42I'm sure it is possible to do by logic alone, but I was completely stuck until I assumed it was symmetrical. Then, As you say, it became easy.
Trefoil Knot13 May 2021, 6:11Neat puzzle. I hope the spoiler tag works on the image.
Cloche12 May 2021, 8:03A cloche could also be a hat of a similar shape. Popular among flappers.

Lemur10 May 2021, 6:05an elegant puzzle and an elegant final result. Bravo. I love how the lines are suggested.
Chair9 May 2021, 21:06very nice snack of a puzzle. Quick and easy and satisfying.
Птицы2 May 2021, 19:56Lovely picture and a very challenging puzzle. the trick to starting was getting that bottom line. You had to think hard about what it COULDN'T be.
Horse1 May 2021, 5:31hard to get started, but a good challenge and a nice picture.
Ink and Quill24 April 2021, 21:54I really like working puzzles like this. I think they feed my addiction to nonograms. As folks above said, the first part was easy, and I finished quickly with a satisfying rush. The top was hard to get started, which made a similar dopamine rush at the end all the more satisfying.

Now I want another fix... (or maybe I just want to avoid doing the laundry)
Honey24 April 2021, 19:40I almost never need to guess, but this one had me "stumped". I think you are right about the title.
Howard the Duck23 April 2021, 8:59Trapped in a world he never made. I remember reading these and Zippy the Pinhead.
Cake19 April 2021, 8:29I was thinking it was going to be a skull. This is sweeter. ;-)
Ghost In A Jar18 April 2021, 21:29Interesting... I didn't realize that puzzles could be rejected for that issue. It seems to be a very common complaint. I recently got a new monitor. My old one was just awful and I frequently had a problem seeing the difference between close colors. I tried not to complain. If you change your settings so you choose a color by clicking on a number that can help. Even so, I sometimes skipped puzzles.

I wonder if the staff could come up with some kind of setting fix for this. Maybe an increase contrast mode where you could work out the puzzle with really distinct colors, then change back to what the creator intended after you solved it.

Anyway, this was a fun puzzle and a creative subject.
Boar18 April 2021, 14:38Sure looks more like that than the title.
Darth Vader18 April 2021, 7:48https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bzWSJG93P8

about 2/3 of the way through the puzzle, this came into my head.
