Domino12 January 2023, 7:46...
Mounted Knight12 January 2023, 7:36+1.
A kitten12 January 2023, 5:01Indeed.
Pow!11 January 2023, 5:05... said the school child to his teacher.

Some of us don't consider this entertainment. Others of you will ridicule our concern. Others are dead.
Rebus is a proverb9 January 2023, 7:19Likewise; I can't make any sense of it. A trowel at upper right? A gate and some leaves? Quotation marks? "b = 0" or "6 = 0"?
Gibson Flying V Guitar8 January 2023, 22:57Thanks for the clarification. When Henry IV said that he would put bleach in his tea before cream, I thought he meant that they should be added in that order; so I tried it for a while but I didn't like it. I stuck with the cream, though, and that proved to be a gateway drug to maple syrup, apple juice, and all the rest. Anyway, Henry would be proud that you're still preaching his gospel
Beach Umbrella8 January 2023, 5:06Canned, jammed, pickled -- that pretty much covers it. "This one's for you", three times, while there actually are two. And I thought the holy trinity was confusing. (Seriously, though, your reply is the only thing that makes any sense in all of this.)
Ship ahoy!8 January 2023, 4:58... or Greenpeace.
Beach Umbrella7 January 2023, 4:31In a ball, with a book ... that just doesn't seem practical; but I'll wait for John-Bob's opinion.
Oink7 January 2023, 4:30Pork bellies? I suppose so; safer than bitcoin, anyway.
Berry4 January 2023, 19:54... and I plead guilty, your honour. I can't help myself.
Berry4 January 2023, 19:53Good, thanks.
Ice Tea in a Mason Jar, the Way God Intended4 January 2023, 0:02He well might. Thor spends a few weeks in Yorkshire most winters, to get a break from the blizzards.
Sacrifice3 January 2023, 23:55... another one that I can't figure out. I see suggestions of crucifixion, jay-walking, GMO gardening, hang-gliding, but no one of those comes together. Can anyone explain?
Rabbit2 January 2023, 7:15Not yet; Chinese new year is a few weeks away.
Wedding Day2 January 2023, 6:41Two rings.
Loser2 January 2023, 0:58Can someone explain?
Happy New Nonogram Year1 January 2023, 3:56Well said.
Ice Tea in a Mason Jar, the Way God Intended1 January 2023, 3:13We seem to be ganging up on you, John-Bob. Don't let it drag you down, we've always been a different breed out here in the colonies. And with so many gods to chose from, we have no trouble choosing one who intends things the way we like.
Teapot1 January 2023, 3:07Oops, I meant: Purists outside of Yorkshire add milk to their cup first, and pour the *hot tea* over it. Only a lunatic would pour boiling water over milk (but to each their own, I don't criticise).
Teapot31 December 2022, 22:15Likewise, except not incensed.
Teapot31 December 2022, 22:14As I said: bothered, severely.
Purists outside of Yorkshire add milk to their cup (not mug) first, and pour (not pore) the boiling water over it. They say that it scalds the milk. Some purists in China wash their tea before brewing it.
Times change, people adapt traditions to their local conditions, civilisations crumble. Do what you like with your tea.
Wedding Day31 December 2022, 6:58And not just any prime; a Mersenne prime.
The Nano-Gram's Passion31 December 2022, 6:55I know the feeling well. You have my sympathy.
Teapot31 December 2022, 6:53I'll answer while Rickshaw's time zone is asleep: add whatever you want. The purists won't be bothered by milk, but if they are bothered by anything that you want to add (such as cream; cream will bother them, severely), add it anyway. Honey, spices, maple syrup, whisky (bourbon, in your neighbourhood?), apple juice -- anything goes.
The Nano-Gram's Passion31 December 2022, 2:47Oops, I got it wrong too; "The-Nono-Gram".
The Nano-Gram's Passion31 December 2022, 2:45A nanogram is a tiny mass.
The Nono-gram is your wife.
You would do well to keep those straight.
(Her grandmother might be the Nana-gram, but don't worry about that for now.)
Fire Extinguisher30 December 2022, 22:48Apparently Mr Wonderful's does.
Woman on Sunday Afternoon -- Seurat30 December 2022, 22:35...which was expanded upon by the Cubists.
Teapot29 December 2022, 0:24... can't argue with that.
Teapot28 December 2022, 22:20That's a different hoax (but: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb3mFGkKzn4)
Teapot28 December 2022, 10:01Surely you don't believe in that Piltshaw hoax?
Route 6628 December 2022, 2:15... in a self-driving car, that solves your nonogram while you have a nap.
Menorah25 December 2022, 0:10Clarification is good, I always welcome it. My English is not perfect, either, but it's the only language I've got.
Longboat24 December 2022, 6:31I know -- it's like an entirely different medium. But an artist who is driven by the market is not an artist ... you've got to do what your spirit (or your famous muse?) moves you to do.
Odin on Sleipnir24 December 2022, 4:32That's one for the hall of fame.
Longboat24 December 2022, 4:31God rejse, but I can't go with you ... I don't do puzzles that don't fit entirely on my monitor.
Beach Sunset24 December 2022, 2:14Ok, off-kilter doesn't bother me, I was just confused (and I kind of liked it as the view through eyeglasses). Doing it as a surprise was brilliant. Now that you're here, I hope you'll stay.
Menorah24 December 2022, 2:12Thanks, you're right -- "hanukkiah" is more precise and avoids confusion.
Bath Time23 December 2022, 19:52Aha, some insider information. No, not everyone. Thanks for the explanation. It all makes sense now.
Beach Sunset23 December 2022, 18:34No comment.
Bath Time23 December 2022, 18:19That could be a towel hanging on a rack, that would be more likely than toilet paper, tho' the torn corner fits your theory better.
Beach Sunset23 December 2022, 18:17Better you should give it away. If you're suggesting that the tree is above the line and the shadow is below it, then the shadow is on the wrong side relative to the sun. I wondered whether the jagged horizontal line is a low-resolution rendering of the curvature of the earth, but that would put the tree on the horizon, floating on the ocean. Or aybe it's a windmill, with its base refracted at the surface.
Beach Sunset23 December 2022, 11:04... what evil lurks in the hearts of men? I don't care about that, I just want to know what I'm looking at.
Bath Time23 December 2022, 8:29Another confusing one -- a floating head, wearing Buster Keaton's hat? Water damage? There appears to be a window, but it's not where one would one would be expected to be found beside a bathtub; maybe it's another clue to the mystery.
Beach Sunset23 December 2022, 8:18All those comments, and no one asking for explanation? Or am I missing something obvious? Is it the view partly through, partly over the top of, one's glasses?
Menorah23 December 2022, 7:38As I understand it, any lamp is a menorah, so calling a hanukkiah a "menorah" is correct, even a single candle with no religious connection is a menorah. Usually, though, "menorah" refers to the 7-candle version.
Menorah23 December 2022, 7:28I suppose it could be that, too, but I intended "dig it".
Man in Suit22 December 2022, 9:01I know; don't mind me, I'm contrary even when I'm in complete agreement.
