Aquarium4 September 2020, 2:42Neck and neck ... but I think the fish will surge ahead to win.
Hare in training4 September 2020, 2:42Streaming, flaxen, waxen
...

Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hare
Cat3 September 2020, 23:26Likewise. For me it was the 4 in the third column from the right -- not where it was, but where it couldn't be.
Young wolf3 September 2020, 10:47You think it's cute now; give it a year.
Hid under the tree3 September 2020, 5:19Worried that it will mess up your hare?
Hug the sun3 September 2020, 5:07Another one where I'm not sure what I'm looking at. There must be an arm or two in there somewhere, but it looks to me like he's carrying the ceremonial mace over his shoulder into parliament. And 'Hug the sun' is the kind of terminal cuteness that clogs my arteries.

I'm not complaining though, there's something for everyone here, and lots of it.
Parrot2 September 2020, 1:58I would have to recognize a head at the top of the body before I give this image a good rating.
Cross1 September 2020, 3:21I'll bet you can't do it with no crosses.
Duck1 September 2020, 2:50Ducks' feet evolved for swimming. This bird's feet evolved for folding up and putting things in; her eggs, perhaps.
Hare1 September 2020, 2:38Don't you two get started about the hare again (you know who I'm talking to).
Barista1 September 2020, 0:49I thought it was one of Robin Hood's merry men.
Mackerel31 August 2020, 1:19Holy.
Theft of sausages30 August 2020, 6:45Susagger's sausages?
Theft of sausages30 August 2020, 6:44A run down the street.
Owl30 August 2020, 6:07(that comment was supposed to make you curious about the person or persons that I was referring to; then, you were supposed to inquire about their identity).
Snail30 August 2020, 5:58I had a racing snail once. I surgically removed its shell to make it go faster, but it only made it more sluggish.
Half an avocado30 August 2020, 5:53Only one hint for me, but ... much longer than 50 minutes. Was this really that hard? I got stuck, took a break, and when I came back I found that I had previously missed some obvious moves.
Scorpio29 August 2020, 3:53I wasn't expecting that.
Drunk and beaten29 August 2020, 1:32Hm.
Kidney29 August 2020, 1:20But I'm not sure. That doesn't look like one. It doesn't look like anything. A translation error, perhaps? (but even then, what is it?)
Scorpio29 August 2020, 1:16I was expecting a lobster. This is dangerous.
Laika28 August 2020, 23:47Woof.
Cat and pot28 August 2020, 8:59... and that's quite the cat, by the way ("quite the cat" is an idiom; don't try to make sense of it).
Cat and pot28 August 2020, 8:57I've never been good at following instructions, and I think it's good for the comments to be visible here -- then you won't get flooded with private messages that repeat the same info. People only need to comment if they can improve on what's written here.

"A cat" refers to some cat. "The cat" refers to a specific cat.
"A" and "the" are like "un/une" and "le/la" in French, or "ein/eine/..." and "der/dem/das/die" in German.

In titles, "a" will probably be used more often than "the".
Mouse28 August 2020, 5:13Not so; read all the comments above yours.
Goldfish28 August 2020, 2:09So this is where it all started. Giovanni is roast beef, Trump is president. Hemlock, horseradish, ...

Oh those Russians.
Kitty28 August 2020, 1:27Smooth? In the solving? or the final image?
Caribs28 August 2020, 1:04... because you have said that you think a good title adds to your appreciation of an image. You know better than I do whether a proper name makes a difference, but this title refers to a specific people and location, and evokes a specific time and circumstance; all of which wouldn't matter much if it weren't such a good image.
Heron27 August 2020, 22:26Interesting composition, but a heron would never be in that position.
Snail27 August 2020, 11:05Random animal generator? How does that work?
Snail27 August 2020, 11:04Thanks. My name is an echo.
Snail27 August 2020, 11:02My snail and my cat love working on puzzles together. Especially people puzzles.
Raccoon27 August 2020, 11:01That image doesn't quite come together. The skull fracture is jarring and there's clutter that doesn't contribute anything. I rate images high when they're good, and this artist does good work, but not this time.
Whale27 August 2020, 5:50For example:
based on the eye of this beholder:
Like a logo. Bad. Unexpected.
Whale27 August 2020, 5:48Go ahead, be a pedant; it wouldn't be the worst sin committed on the internet. How things look depends on the eye of the beholder, and that's entirely out of your control.
Bumble26 August 2020, 22:58?
Snail26 August 2020, 22:50arinka's was first, but Battle_Goldfish's is smaller (images posted within minutes of each other).
Tiny snail26 August 2020, 22:40Sure, why not?
Coral reef fish26 August 2020, 21:42I'm sorry for planting that image in your mind; I was too quick to comment.
Coral reef fish26 August 2020, 21:42... like raccoon road-kill.
A hare near a carrot26 August 2020, 21:31Carrot? What carrot?
A hare near a carrot26 August 2020, 21:30A hare near a UFO landing site.
A hare near a carrot26 August 2020, 21:30A hare near a high-voltage source.
A hare near a carrot26 August 2020, 21:29A hare near a nervous breakdown.
A hare near a carrot26 August 2020, 21:28The picture is either awful or brilliant.
Goat26 August 2020, 12:24Good call.

Seahorse26 August 2020, 10:51My opinion: I want to see a seahorse and a strawberry together.
Owl26 August 2020, 10:35They told me that you sound like an owl.
The girl on the bike26 August 2020, 4:23Thanks for the clarification. I thought you were rejecting the idea of coding a spreadsheet to solve the puzzle.
