Then, slightly modified: "Because the author of this nonogram is from Russia" (not a proper sentence, starting with "because", but English speakers do that too; it's the same with the next sentence, starting wit "but"). And "But I understand English too"; I think the "and" was a typo, not a language error.

I'm just trying to be helpful. Sorry if I sound like a pedant.
