Glasses9 July 2020, 22:02When I can't figure out an image, I take off my glasses, and let my blurred vision smoothe the pixels.
(In this case, I thought I was looking at peppers, or maybe a couple of antique cell phones. I can't say it's a satisfying image.)

I'm curious whether those pixels were generated by a program, to make the puzzle solveable (or is that one of those intractable tasks that Turing warned us about?)

The mermaid24 June 2020, 1:43Difficult, and frustrated by my single complaint: when I mark a square, then realise that my logic is flawed; my mark happens to have been correct,and the puzzle has automatically filled in a lot of other squares with crosses ... I want to back out and solve the puzzle logically, but I don't know which crosses to remove. I wish there were a back-out button, to back out as many steps as one wants.

I made some mistakes and couldn't remember all the marks that I had made -- probably some were correct, but because they weren't flagged, I didn't remove them ... so I think I marked some squares correctly but by my error. It would be nice if it were possible to back up after an error, and remove marks in reverse of the order that they were made.
