And, if Bolsonaro would decide to invade another country, it would also not be so potentially dangerous, because we do not have nuclear bombs in Brazil. The situation is dire for all Ukrainians and, to some extend, also for Russians, specially the mothers of young soldiers killed in a war of choice. So let us be allowed to show compassion towards our hosts and artists.
Cat	2 March 2022, 17:45	I disagree. Even though the site is Russian, the artist is Ukranian. The Ukrainians are suffering but so are, to a much lesser extent, the Russians. So let us hope this insane war ends asap and both countries recover. In any case, by showing solidarity to people’s suffering we are not pooping on the general Russian. (However, I must confess I would gladly soiling Putin’s palace marble floors.)

The only thing to do is to try to adapt, and if and when we slip and use the term we have been raised with, the people hearing it should be kind and gently correct the mistep, instead of aggressive and righteous.
