But I kept at it, missing the avg. 50-minute time by a mile, finally solving it in just over 90 minutes...thankfully the picture was cute! lol |

After the first Edge easy logical fill-ins, I found myself slumming constantly with Intuitive Guessing, which I've been trying to stay away from lately. Oh well, irina's pictures ALWAYS worth it, at the risk of repeating myself! :) |

Also?...for the time EVER, since I've been at this website since Nov. 2020?...I was able to COMPLETELY use logic, as opposed to any "intuitive guessing" and didn't make ONE "red" correction mark appear. Not surprising, considering how much black there was. Again, nice pic, sergey!!! |

But I also learned a few tricks when it comes to consolidating placement of multiples of the same color in certain rows, so I did it in only 8 hours, 33 mins. But yeah, took a few sessions off and on. Very nice pic, but will bite off MUCH smaller puzzles in the next few days, too lol |

Well today I "cleared" what little inroads I'd made & started over, finishing it up a bit over the Avg. Time. I still had to guess a few places to make any traction, but they were almost all correct, too. It's amazing how much "intuition" one gets on these puzzles over time. And YES...one of THE toughest puzzles to "start", no question |

I've so far only worked on maybe?... 7 or 8 18+ puzzles, but for w/e reason, I find this one to be the most provocative so far (being a guy helps LOL). Nice pic, Jazzy, and STILL in classy taste, despite the position :) |

And even then once I got all the WORDS, I still had to randomly test along the right edge to find the last black "3-island" to get the rest of the picture. DO like the finished pic, tho! |

VERY nice pic! Anyone else prefer the b/w puzzles to the color ones, and wish more of the Large, XL Large, and (dare I dream? lol) even the XXL Large puzzles are created sooner than later? ;-) |
