Oriental dance9 March 2020, 17:03This was amazing. A wonderful image and a wonderful difficulty!
Wolf7 March 2020, 14:01Took me longer than any other puzzle I've done. Perfectly doable without hints or cheating, not particularly (logically) hard, just very very large.
Sledge26 February 2020, 21:14Lovely image!
Definitely solvable without cheating, guessing or using a program, but still a nice challenge.
Cossack20 February 2020, 13:54Excellent
Come up with a story yourself ))13 November 2019, 18:31My suggestion:
Our heroine is cursed with magical hair that can't be cut off. Cursed because it's not the nice fluffy magic with no consequences, but the kind of magic that makes you evil if you try to control it - and control it you must, as it can turn anything into water - including your friends and family. After many challenges and tragedies along the way, our heroine's kindness and bravery convinces an old magician to help her summon her deceased grand mother, and she and her ghost friends create a magical field to contain the magic. All it requires is that every morning at sunrise, the heroine lets her grand mother brush her hair.
So my suggested title is: "Some morning routines Ardmore important than others"

Queen of the dance floor12 November 2019, 0:20At first I thought it was
a butterfly sitting on a person's nose!
The actual image is also great!
Lighthouse10 October 2019, 9:00Took me some effort to see, but is absolutely worth it!
The drinker fell5 October 2019, 18:25Excellent!
Man slipped in winter5 October 2019, 18:08This is such a cool motive! I hope you'll make more of these, Yvan!
Chess26 September 2019, 12:16As the others have said you can do this by right-clicking. You can further adapt the game by clicking the settings icon (the classic cogwheel) and change how you add a cross if you want.
Cogwheel -> Management -> Advanced settings
Milk jug24 May 2019, 10:58One of the best colour puzzles I've seen!
Emilio Fiaschi - Veiled female nude8 May 2019, 1:04Wonderful image in the thumbnail. Well done.
Elephant25 April 2019, 16:14Auch
Mom is knitting something25 April 2019, 15:17Wow. This is absolutely adorable!
The glass slipper25 April 2019, 14:51This is really cool. Thank you PolN0vik.
Face and Sun17 March 2019, 3:56One of the (if not THE) best colour nonograms I have ever seen.
Magpie16 March 2019, 3:07The difficulty depends entirely on what techniques you are used to. The puzzle is perfectly doable in 5-10 min if you are familiar with the right ones, and (based on other comments) a bit more difficult otherwise.
I really like this style of image. While some comment that a differential shade of white would have improved the contrast, I love it for the lack of this extra shade. I really like the nonograms where one has to finish the full puzzle before really seeing the image, which I have yet to see a picture with added whites do.
So this puzzle really ticks all my boxes!
Great job Valaroma!
Pianist12 March 2019, 0:36Lovely!
Crab9 March 2019, 15:35The beginning was hard, but after two hours of almost nothing, the puzzle unravelled after finding the right two squares.
Scorpion17 February 2019, 20:18
Old stories and allegories get retold and changed according to what one wishes to convey - sometimes to the point were they are barely recognisable. But this instance is particularly interesting as the morals are so contradictory (though not all of the older ones have the same meaning). One emphasising the nobel nature of the pastor, who maintains his morals and kindness, despite the unkind respons of the scorpion; and the other emphasising the tragic results of helping and trusting someone you know will hurt you.

One could argue that while the details of Sheryl's version are geographically improbable, it plays on the other tale, and thus creates an interesting counter argument. A kind and healthy approach to life might very well lie somewhere in between.

And given the vastness of internet and human imagination, I don't doubt someone has created such a version of Little Red Riding Hood.

Non flying squirrel14 February 2019, 0:52Loving the title
Church24 January 2019, 18:22Not hard - just large. A beautiful image though ^^

Rebus anagram with enthusiastic dreams (in Russian)7 November 2018, 0:24Great, I managed to put spoilers around everything except the last and most important bit, and put it in quotes instead.

The bit that didn't make the message, as it was getting too long:
Thank you for an impressive challenge PolN0vik! I also hope you don't mind me translating your hints.
Rebus anagram with enthusiastic dreams (in Russian)7 November 2018, 0:23Insanely hard if you don't speak Russian, so thankfully PolN0vik provided a solution on the Russian page, which can be deciphered via google translate.
For those who are interested in the solution, and would prefer not to go through the translation process (this is taken from PolN0vik's explanation):
The elements:
1: A vase (ВAЗА) and the numbers 1 and 2 with arrows in between.
2: A scale (БEЗМЕН) with three apostrophes on the left hand side.
3: An apple (Я БЛОКO) along with the encoding 5 = x, 6 = a and an apostrophe to its left.
Their interpretation:
1: АВЗА
2: МЕН
3: БЛОХА
4: АВЗАМЕНБЛОХА - А ВЗАМЕН БЛОХА
5: English: I can't translate this into something sensible. Google translate has given me four different and seemingly unrelated translations. If someone knows, please let me know :D
Anagram solution:

Profession (rebus in Russian)6 November 2018, 23:32
According to google translate, which I use as I don't speak Russian, the spelling for tsar is "царь", so the first letter is replaced by a "с".
Part of the way (rebus in Russian)6 November 2018, 23:16And of course: Thank you, Anastasiya, for the crossword and the extra puzzle :D
Part of the way (rebus in Russian)6 November 2018, 23:15So I had a look at the Russian site to see how they solved the rebus
1: The greek letter phi (not the russian one, because the "i" sound is part of the solution). Russian: фи
2: Cherries. Russian: вишни
3: The letters from the word for cherries that we will be using, 423. ниш
4: Final combination: финиш
5: Translation: (the) finish
Table lamp26 October 2018, 20:45I managed to solve it fine without guessing, but it wasn't as straight forward as some other images.

Tip:

When doing the beige squares in the top right corner row 5 and 6 held this solution for me.

Bird13 October 2018, 19:12A to of fun to do colour by colour. I started with orange, and had some trouble with the last three squares.
Apple12 October 2018, 17:54Easy, but enjoyable :)
Light my mirror...14 September 2018, 23:11Excellent
Pigeon11 July 2018, 1:21A truly beautiful image!!

To everyone:
For easy puzzles such as this one, I usually choose one colour at the time, and stick with it until I have finished all squares with that colour before allowing myself to change it. A version is to do the same with negative space.

Do you guys have a fun way of making easy puzzles harder? I'm looking for new ideas (preferably not time based ones) :)
Happy Toast5 July 2018, 15:51I think the pink cheeks make it happy :D
The Statue Of Liberty1 July 2018, 20:23One tiny little discovery, and the rest was super easy, but it took so long to find it!
Soldiers28 June 2018, 15:29I got stuck for ages, but the spot wasn't that hard to see, once I was looking at the right area. Fun and interesting!

Hint (if you get stuck the same place as I got):
Look at the lower right quartile
The boat turned over27 June 2018, 4:47Beautiful!
Soon it will rain28 May 2018, 10:19Beautiful!
Beetle27 May 2018, 14:47A very good monogram in my opinion :)
The sorcerer27 May 2018, 14:34I wouldn't call the image beautiful, but it is interesting and, in my opinion, quite well made.
If you let your imagination free for a bit, this image has so much potential.

The first thing that comes to mind is a magic version of Karate Kid, with a very old and crooked mr. Myagi.

Secondly the brilliant Discworld series, where the man here might be a bit old to be THE sorcerer, but looks very much like what the wizards are described to look like - minus the pointy hat.

Imagine an old man like this walking grumpily through his village before going home to cook up a potion to deal with "those imprudent youngsters".

Or even better - imagine him on holiday in Spain, enjoying the sun and sending minor curses around to entertain him, while he adds another layer on sun screen to his nose and cackling madly.
Poetry27 May 2018, 12:46Excellent image!
Hieroglyph "Tea"24 May 2018, 23:30Just adding my comment here to apologise for my mistake. I only realised yesterday, that when you finish a puzzle all the spoilers automatically open. I think that's what I mistook for a mistake here. So yes. I understand that my message must have come across very strange.
Wario23 May 2018, 19:29Fun to do!
February 102nd, Siberia22 May 2018, 13:14February might be short, but sometimes it feels very very long if you are in the "right" place. This year the winter has been long
February 102nd, Siberia22 May 2018, 13:13I know the feeling of Febuary 102th :P Excellent image, funny title, and interesting puzzle! :D
Rain22 May 2018, 1:53Excellent image.

Tea for two16 May 2018, 16:19Looks potentially very painful.
