Bar8 June 2021, 23:54Haha! I either __really__ misread the user names (maybe Mairsybeth and Suohhen?) for which I apologize. Or the comments were changed/deleted? Either way, thanks to those who shared tips 'n tricks. And yeah, we are in different worlds - 4 years apart. ;)
Yoshi4 December 2020, 22:43Classic style! :D I knew who it was once I finished the bit on the left, but I'm a huge fan of this character, so that's probably why. Great job!
Dr. Eggman24 November 2020, 18:18Wow, this is really good! I sort of worked from the bottom to the top, and I wasn't sure what it was. But once I got to the top half, I had to laugh - great surprise to see such a detailed image of this character. Haha! Excellent, thank you. :)
In the sultan's garden16 October 2020, 21:42What a poetic title for the puzzle! :) I had a lot of fun with this one, and it resulted in a pretty image. Thank you!
Run for fun6 October 2020, 18:01Sometimes! :P But I'm using "NSFW" as the colloquial short-hand for "not suitable for all audiences." Like, "don't do this in front of your grandma/child/easily offended person."
Eggplant11 February 2020, 23:56Not gonna lie, that stare is kinda creepy. Haha! But it was a fun puzzle to do. Thanks!
Parrot7 February 2020, 23:45So cute! Love it :)
Dragon Gorynych7 February 2020, 19:42I agree with others - the picture is gorgeous, but the size and number of 1s made it tedious to finish. So much scrolling up and down! But worth it in the end. :)
Globe10 January 2020, 20:41Wow, great job! This was a fun puzzle to complete, and the image is excellent. Thanks for sharing!
A piece of grapefruit10 January 2020, 20:25It's OK, but the barely indistinguishably darker red color was unnecessary. Just made things needlessly tedious. There are other more colorful versions of this image topic on the site that were a lot more fun to complete...
Watching TV17 December 2019, 21:23Really neat idea for a puzzle! I like the perspective. Thanks :)
The house on the hill17 December 2019, 20:37Wow, this is definitely one of those that is confusing up-close but gorgeous when viewed from a distance. Excellent puzzle! :)
Run for fun12 December 2019, 20:43The only 18+ issue is that one little red dot in the middle of the image. Without that, it's a little bit of implied naughtiness. Maybe it's not exactly 18+ with it, but it is certainly NSFW .. sorry. =/ It was still fun (and funny)!
Tree6 December 2019, 20:03This is a great one for practicing filling in 1 color at a time. Cute result! :)
Witch22 October 2019, 19:56I see the idea behind the image, and it looks a bit better in the thumbnail than here. Maybe it could benefit from being just a little bigger?
Lighthouse2 October 2019, 20:24I'm in the minority - I don't really care for the colors used. I think the lightest blue is unnecessary, and the greenish blue is pretty dull in comparison. The yellow portion is nice, though.
Lightning McQueen2 October 2019, 20:15Impressive! Small yet completely recognizable when done. Great job! :)
Buddha2 August 2019, 20:25Nice image, but wow those two off-white colors are so similar. Once the image is completed, they stand out from each other OK. But while working the puzzle, I was constantly getting them confused. Glad there weren't many squares of #6.
Lobster1 August 2019, 20:35Ok, I was convinced this wasn't doable with logic alone, but it is - it's just not doable with /counting/ logic. You have to use inference with what I call color logic. The bottom 2/3 was pretty straight forward, but the top part was tough! For anyone stuck, here's a hint I can offer:
Use color logic with the top row, specifically the right-most gray spot. In a left-to-right reading, it has to come after all of the other top black spots, so... Color logic helps with the 2 black spots and 1 other gray spot on the top row as well, and once you have the top row, you can continue with counting logic. :)
Snoopy9 July 2019, 20:34Cute, and very nostalgic! As a puzzle, it was pretty simple. I know it's a common gripe, but the near-white color was very hard to work with .. I have a headache from squinting to see it! But in this case, I can see the reason for it. But maybe just leave it as white space?
Car9 July 2019, 20:09Aside from being an easier difficulty puzzle, the image is very nice! I like the small bits of detail added in, and you can even tell what type it is:
a cool convertible for summer fun!
Nice job, thank you! :)
Irina Rodnina3 July 2019, 20:08Wow! The thumbnail image is nearly photo-realistic. What a fantastic result! And it was a fun puzzle to complete.
Parrot27 June 2019, 22:01It is a very nice picture, but I personally do not enjoy puzzles with too many one-off color changes. It might have been a bit more enjoyable if
the perch he's sitting on was green or brown, and the background marks some other color than grey. I'm not sure why the toy(?) and seed sprig(?) are in the picture, either, but they were a bit distracting
.
Fashionista22 June 2019, 18:37Wow, fantastic work on the effect. Very nice results, and a fun puzzle to complete. :)
Chamomile20 June 2019, 21:00This was really a lot of fun to complete. And such a pretty image! Thank you! :)
Peacock20 June 2019, 19:55It's not a bad puzzle, and the image is OK. But the colors are way too harsh in contrast. It's a mess to look at for so long; I almost didn't want to finish the puzzle, but I'm a completionist. lol Maybe change up the pallet .. ?
Rake19 June 2019, 23:32I think what people mean by it requiring guessing is that you can't start this with counting logic; you must use inference logic. You must infer what must happen with the yellow & orange spaces. It feels like guessing.

I did try to solve this via the counting method. You can finish the grey/blue section in the bottom-right via counting logic, but you absolutely cannot solve the top-left that way. You must infer, starting with the light orange color in the top. Again, it IS a form of logic, but it's not the typical logic used for these puzzles. Doable, but it can feel like a guess if you like to trust in numbers.
Pikachu18 June 2019, 19:36Very cute! To those hating on the subject matter, it might be worth noting that
a lot of people (myself included) first learned about Nonograms through the Pokemon version on the Nintendo 3DS.
That aside, if you are enjoying a puzzle, it shouldn't really matter the image at the end. If you're NOT enjoying a puzzle, don't do it. I'm certainly tired of doing mushroom and fruit puzzles, but if they're fun to complete, I get over it. This is a free site for you; stop griping over subject matter.
Flappy Bird18 June 2019, 16:57I was able to recognize the image, even though
I never played Flappy Bird.
It was so ubiquitous a few years ago, you couldn't avoid it! lol Fun little puzzle to do. :)
Captain Toad17 June 2019, 21:05Aside from a few colors being very similar and a bit difficult to differentiate, this was a lot of fun! I'm a bit confused as to why others weren't able to figure out what this is. I'm familiar with the subject, but even just typing the title into Google got me instant images of it. Oh well! Looks spot-on to me. Very nice. :)
Parrot14 June 2019, 17:37This is now one of my favorite puzzles on the site: simple but fun to do with an enjoyable outcome. Too cute! :3 Thanks!
Isaac14 June 2019, 16:39Very well done! I was able to recognize it before finishing the puzzle. I do agree with comments asking for the title to be altered to add more description as it is pretty vague. Other than that, great puzzle!
Harpist9 June 2019, 4:22Very beautiful, but hard to see up close. The thumbnail is great, though. And the puzzle itself was fun to complete. Thanks! :)
Dog17 May 2019, 16:04Super cute! It reminds me of
Lady from 'Lady and the Tramp'
.
Rotom (Pokemon)13 May 2019, 22:22Definitely a difficult puzzle to start! Had to pick my way outwards from inside. Challenging but doable, and very enjoyable. :)
Peacock6 May 2019, 17:47This is adorable and lovely. It was a joy to complete - and great practice for 1 color at a time. Thank you! :)
Marinet Dupen-Chen6 May 2019, 17:39This is a great puzzle for practicing completing 1 color at a time. Thanks bjmgeek for the name clarification. After seeing the character, this is definitely a good minimalist-style representation. Very nice! :)
Umbrellas6 May 2019, 17:35Interesting layout. The left and right corners were fun to complete, but the green bit in the middle got aggravating - it was predictable and had too many repetitive 1-block color changes. But overall it's a good puzzle.
Filin3 May 2019, 15:45Pretty straight-forward as a puzzle, but I was having trouble seeing the image. I was staring pretty hard and then decided to check the thumbnail. Gave me a good laugh to see
it was staring just as hard at ME! :D
. I love it - and thanks to the community here, I learned a Russian word. Thanks!
Fire extinguisher29 April 2019, 21:22It is very plain and simple to complete. However, considering how long ago the puzzle was posted to the site, it makes sense. Plus it's nice to have some easier puzzles for new solvers or just to make yourself feel really smart. :P
Rottweiler23 April 2019, 19:47I really wish I'd read the comments before starting. lol It is a very beautifully detailed image, but I agree completely with MEisHERE and TIncan - it isn't worth the time and tediousness. The blacks and greys are too close in color, and there are so many single color changes. I wish someone had done this for me, so for those who don't want to complete the puzzle but are interested, the picture is
a Rottweiler (dog)
.
Lancashire Heeler (Dog)18 April 2019, 20:39This is adorable! Tiny but distinct, and the colors are very pleasant. Thank you! :)
Amanita17 April 2019, 16:48As a puzzle, it's OK. This specific image has been done many times on this site, and most of those are of better quality. It was a little disappointing. Still fun to complete, though.
Pegasus3 April 2019, 15:35Superb! I like the effect at the bottom. Looks great. :)
Snowman29 March 2019, 21:36Haha! Nice, fresh take on a standard image. Very entertaining!
Green parrot29 March 2019, 20:03My experience mimics stelkam's above. Haha! I wasn't sure where the image was going, but upon finishing, what was revealed is probably one of the best-designed of the adorable pictures on the site. Cute surprise, thank you!
Burrito29 March 2019, 18:00Haha! These comments are great. I, too, though "This dog looks like a [title]." Still guessed what it was, sort of, So I guess it hit its mark! :o)
Sheldon J. Plankton21 March 2019, 23:22
The two green lines coming from the top of him (which should be black, I think) are supposed to be Plankton's antennae. My guess is the yellow is the "left-overs" of the background that was removed to make this puzzle.
Chick20 March 2019, 16:55Another great puzzle for practicing filling in 1 color at a time. Thanks! :)
Scissors20 March 2019, 16:51This was a perfect puzzle for me to practice doing 1 color at a time. Thanks! :)
