Checkweigher28 February 2017, 21:56It looks like someone mixed up two different kinds of scales. There's no reason for scale to have two trays and have a metered display in the middle. It's utterly redundant.
Bunny28 February 2017, 5:36Even after the title it took a second, but it's actually very sweet. Reminds me of Clover from Sophia the First.
Piano keys27 February 2017, 13:45The other notes aren't too bad, but that triplet was a mistake to try and create. It looks like a couple of aliens from Space Invaders trying to mate.
Hedgehog26 February 2017, 3:28...on crack?
Record player26 February 2017, 2:14I feel like the presence of the antennae and handle confirms that this is actually a boom box - i.e. a portable stereo - not a record player.
Whirligig25 February 2017, 22:30On this site especially you have to take a moment to look at the real meanings of words, not just the definitions you learned in context growing up. The definition of whirligig is any toy that spins around. It's not just a word for what we might called a "pinwheel" in the US. It applies to a top like this as well.
A piece of cake23 February 2017, 7:08Now to me it looks like neither dessert - more like a traditional dinner item, loaded with toppings and maybe stuffed crust.
Mistress21 February 2017, 7:24It took me a bit to pick it all out - there's A LOT going on. There's a clothesline across the top, a basket on the ground beneath it, and a girl hanging the wash.
Street21 February 2017, 6:52Very cool perspective shot.
In the bottle21 February 2017, 6:28That is an awesome image, a unique idea, and fantastic detail for the size and how much the artist had to fit into the space. Really impressed.
Opposites attract21 February 2017, 5:58These are an adorable pair. They would make for some fun graphics if you licensed them for on t-shirts and the like.
Mushroom20 February 2017, 22:36Agreed Christiana - especially if you include actual blades of grass or twigs.
Street lamp20 February 2017, 8:55That's lovely work, and I love the detail. It really looks like the kind of lantern you'd see on the corner of an Elizabethan building.
Rabbit (Winnie The Pooh)16 February 2017, 8:52Actually this is what Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh looks like in the Russian version of the cartoon. It's from 1969 and is quite popular. There's an amusing article on Buzzfeed about how the Russian version (called Vinni Pukh) is superior to the American version.
Trawler16 February 2017, 2:47I can kind of see it by really trying, but when I first finished the puzzle all I saw was Bart Simpson wearing goggles on the right and Dig Dug in the center.
Hamster15 February 2017, 11:05That's what I always imagined a Tamagotchi would look like if it took live-animal form. :)
Krash (Kikoriki)15 February 2017, 1:28That's what Google is for folks. Kikoriki is a TV show for children age 3-8. Talk smack about a children's television show character by calling it stupid makes you look like a bit of a tit.
Mickey14 February 2017, 8:08That is a GREAT rendering. I love the expression on his face.
Japan13 February 2017, 21:52Very "Land of the Rising Sun."
Lion11 February 2017, 8:06That is a very striking image. The tail in particular is very well defined.
Romance9 February 2017, 10:04Here's the thing; most couples taking a boat out for a little romantic canoodling are NOT going to bring a fishing pole much less prop it up in the boat.

Frankly this image could've benefited from less detail.
Girlfriend Mickey7 February 2017, 6:19I get that there's translation issues sometimes, but seriously? In the last 20-30 years especially, Minnie Mouse has become a pretty well established and beloved character in her own right. It's a bit odd to tag an image of her just as Mickey's girlfriend.
Cinderella at the ball7 February 2017, 5:19I'm curious why there is a wind machine at the ball. That's some seriously horizontal hair.
Butterfly7 February 2017, 4:59I agree ggg, it's too squat to look natural - more moth than butterfly.
Bells5 February 2017, 14:54Brian - Pretty sure the visitor counter is for the whole site, not this specific page.
Basketball4 February 2017, 11:23In fairness to those who aren't seeing it, the dimensions are all way off. The circumference difference between the hoop and ball is half an inch. Granted that's professional hoops/balls, but even grades-school balls/hoops are less than a two inch difference. That hoop is FAR too big for that ball. Also pro backboards are about 4 times taller than the diameter of the ball/hoop. Again, with non-pro equipment they difference is less, but in this image the hoop is quite a bit longer than the backboard is tall.

Obviously no one expects these images to be perfectly to scale, but I can understand why people who have had little contact with basketball wouldn't automatically recognize this image, just based on the lines on the ball and this layout of shapes.
Rabbit4 February 2017, 9:02Very sweet. Nice job of making it look all little and cutesy.
Rabbit2 February 2017, 14:03Wow, even for a bunny them's some big ears.
T-shirt is ruined1 February 2017, 13:42That's pretty clever. Though I'm wondering why the dude has such a long unibrow.
Ghost1 February 2017, 12:50Trying to decide what 'Spoopy' might be a Freudian slip for.
Wolf1 February 2017, 12:43Nice Gene Wilder impersonation frida. :)
Ghost29 January 2017, 13:14You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Ghost? ;)
Violinist29 January 2017, 4:40I get that when you do faces on this scale the features are really tough, but these odd little flat lines make it look like a gecko in a wig and a dress.
Marilyn Monroe27 January 2017, 8:20I get what they were trying to do here, but with no definition around the nose yet still showing the shadow beneath it, it looks like she's either dressed as Charlie Chaplin or as a reindeer.
Popeye (the cartoon character)27 January 2017, 7:41That's a great likeness. And it's a perfect use of the negative space to outline the character.
Musketeer26 January 2017, 12:37M for Musketeer. The cross on the livery is the giveaway.

Though I'm not sure what is up with the boots. They look like jester shoes or oddly floppy moccasins.
Maze24 January 2017, 9:20Great idea. And by making the grid the way they did, solving the puzzle pulls you from the outside edges to the middle in a really fun way. This was a very fun one - even if the maze was a little too quick to solve. :)
RAM22 January 2017, 13:50When you see this image in a silhouette like this, you really begin to see why various religious mythologies have associated devils and demons with goats and rams. It does rather look like a person dressed in a horned-beast costume.
Baby stroller20 January 2017, 12:37I'm wondering if this is a US thing or simply mis-titling. To us, a pram and a stroller aren't the same thing. The word stroller is only applied to the chair-on-wheels style where the kid generally sits upright. The kind that's made for newborns who can't sit up, basically a bassinet on wheels, is strictly called a pram.
Scrambled eggs19 January 2017, 11:24It's a good puzzle overall and I like all the elements included. Just one small problem - by definition "scrambled" eggs do not have visibly defined yokes in the middle. :)
Captain19 January 2017, 5:29"It's the Tiny Pirate Ship, Charlie Brown?" :)
Gymnast18 January 2017, 6:58Not sure why you think that's a girl in the image, but you've clearly never seen Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Because if you had, you'd know women not only do the pommel horse, they can do it in a full nun's habit.

Just because it's not currently in the competitive gymnastics doesn't mean no women participate in the pommel horse - just as some women do use the rings even though those are only in male competitive gymnastics. Pommel horse was part of the gymnastics section of our PE class when I was in high school, for everyone.

Also FTR - pommel horse is an event, the sport is gymnastics. It's similar to how track is a sport but the 3000 meter race is a track event.
AvtoVAZ17 January 2017, 12:11Given the actual shape/dimensions of this company's logo, I'd have gone with a wider grid and tried to somewhat make the background into an elongated oval.
Carriage17 January 2017, 12:01Cinderella's carriage is usually depicted with more frippery and flourish than this one. Also, in every iteration I've seen, the carriage still looks somewhat pumpkin-like after its transformed. This image is the more the box-style coach or coupe - I'm guessing the latter due to it having only one window on each side.

Though by all rights, this wouldn't be any carriage being used during the age of horse-drawn carriages anyway, because the wheels are WAY too small.
Aeronaut16 January 2017, 11:23Aeronaut is defined as someone piloting a lighter-than-air craft. So yes, that would include someone piloting a hot air balloon, dirigible, etc.

Though I have to agree with TC, in that I'm not convinced this is one - did they ever make hot air balloons with baskets that small?
Leader of the proletariat16 January 2017, 8:38LOL, I imagine that the person to be referred to as the singular "Lennon" wouldn't much appreciate being mixed up with Lenin.

It's not a bad version of one of the traditional Lenin logos, but the ear is a bit wonky.
Fir cone10 January 2017, 8:00It's a nice effort, but the problem is you can't really demonstrate fir needles and the ridges of pine cones in an image like this, without them blending together.
Bug7 January 2017, 4:01Looks like a stink bug - which have been an absolute year-round PITA in this part of the world the last few years.
Subway6 January 2017, 10:51Very nicely done. Effectively you've got got a foreground, midground and background in a very tight space. I'm impressed.
Eye6 January 2017, 10:16Truly an exceptional level of detail. Quite impressive.
