You need a light gold square in that column, and the only row that can have a light gold in that column is row 1. That fills in row 1. Then look at row 2 - you need a dark gold, and now the only columns that can have dark gold are columns 1 and 2. The rest uses similar types of logic, switching back and forth from looking at rows and columns.[/spoiler]
