Squirrel with nuts10 September 2023, 1:19Then I must also be a failure. My mother's a Yorkshirewoman, and I have cœliac disease too.

I really miss Mum's Yorkshire pud!
Warrior with double axe3 April 2022, 12:49I thought he was trying to get a better picture on his TV by moving the arial around.
Laika9 March 2022, 16:12I should perhaps add that I'm now too old and disabled myself to manage dogs, but I have a couple of disabled ex-feral cats who are very happy and contented house cats.
Laika9 March 2022, 16:08She was launched into space on the day I was born. My sole claim to fame! She's been a kind of mascot for me my whole life, and that has led to a lifelong love of rescued dogs, often very old ones which I know are on their last journey. I love to give them a loving home, to make their lives as pleasant as possible for their predicted last months; often with the result that an apparently dying dog suddenly gets a new lease on life and spends several more years with us!
Circus4 March 2022, 14:42I thought it looked like the Australian Parliament House, in Canberra. When I saw the title, I said "Yep. I was right." ;)

Sad lion15 February 2022, 13:08I didn't see the sad lion until the end. It looked like a supercilious eagle. Actually, I can still see both!
Flamingo1 February 2022, 22:12Fun!
Heron1 February 2022, 19:19Good picture, except the poor bird seems to have a broken ankle; it's pointing the wrong way!

A bird's knees are usually hidden underneath its feathers. What look like 'knees' halfway down the visible part of its legs are, in fact, ankles; its 'feet' are just its toes. Birds, like many other animal, stand on tiptoes.
The shed should be done..the grandmother from the other world will get!13 December 2021, 13:11Not in paradise - Russian syntax is different to English, and the tranlator bot doesn't know this. Grandmother used Luka's time machine to fetch him back from the Pearly Gates, because she needed him to build her a shed. Now, that's love for you! :D
Heart attack4 December 2021, 14:16They aren't always fatal! Mine haven't been. Well, so far, at least.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9IEvXbJPmI

Thank you for introducing me to a new carol!
Macaroons12 December 2019, 13:05Lovely colours, fun to do.
But those are macarons, not macaroons. Macarons are brightly coloured almond biscuits; macaroons are baked coconut meringues. Neither should be mistaken for the French president, Macron.
Griffin28 November 2019, 12:12Gorgeous!
Baby bear31 October 2019, 12:40Cute!
Octopuses24 October 2019, 15:23Easy and fun. Amusing picture, but the title is confusing - there's only one!

Violet6 May 2019, 21:36I agree, and this isn't the only puzzle with a picture of a viola which has been labelled 'violet'. I wonder if it is a translation error?

Hippie2 October 2018, 14:36That's a punk, not a hippie. The hippies were members of the 'flower-power' movement in the 1960s. Punks were followers of the loud 'punk rock' genre of the 1970s.
Rider29 August 2018, 13:24I'm with x - that top left corner is a real challenge.
Melon18 August 2018, 12:57Clever - I thought for the longest time that it was going to be a skull!
Fluffy cat18 August 2018, 12:12This was very enjoyable, thank you.
