A bit too easy. You can guess the picture very quickly.

Surely the title is wrong.
It is the symbol of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, a UK organisation, and has been adopted in many other nations as the symbol for "peace".
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campaign_for_Nuclear_Disarmament
It is nothing to do with "Pacific", which is an ocean.

Probably meant to be "Pacifism"

"Pacific" is the adjectival form of "peace". (The ocean, when first discovered by Europeans, was having an atypical quiet day.)

The word "pacific" means peace loving or non-violent, so the title still works.

Thank you Florie.

I wish people would at least reach for a dictionary first, before they start ranting about stuff they apparently know nothing about.

It's still a bad title. If it was "peaceful" it would be a bad title too. I don't like when they give puzzles vague titles that are only tangentially related to the actual picture.

Also, boo symmetry.

I sure like coming across these that are much easier to solve once in awhile.

Pacific, "tending to make peace," from the Middle French pacifique and the Latin pacificus - i.e. pacifism. Not only was the symbol part of the CND, when it really took off it wasn't just a "Peace Sign," it was specifically a symbol for the pacifist movement. It's not vague at all, it's a spot on title.

Also it would be good if more people took a moment to remember that this is NOT an English-language-first website. Sure, we all know there are titles which are just plain wrong or the English translation is a little wonky, but when it's the latter it doesn't do to complain it's the former. And in this case, I'd say it's technically a more accurate title than the title we'd all think of first.

Also I'm with you Palouday - I prefer a variety in difficulties, and am happy to have a simple and easily identifiable puzzle in the middle of more challenging ones.
