Agreed, Rich. I used all 3 hints about halfway through, and have no idea how to solve this one (beyond guessing). Much harder than the 3 stars suggested.

Congratulations on using hints! For me, the problem was difficulty with the last solution technique described on this site. In order to master it, I would use a hint, figure out what I'd missed, and keep doing that until I'd used all three hints. Then I'd clear the puzzle and keep at it until I mastered the technique. Hints are a great learning tool!!! :)

I have used only one hint. Wasn't that hard. And I had no clue what it is until almost the end. well done.
I didn't see what I was looking at but I do now. It was fun to solve, though not difficult, I did it without using x's
I was expecting this to be harder than it was. Quite easy - No hints needed
Tougher than it would seem possible, but yielded to patience. Clever.
Pretty simple to do, but WOW what a GREAT result!
