Rated as THE most difficult black and white puzzle for its size, I used all three hints, came back the next day and cheated, and can't wait to forget how I did it so I can do it without cheating! Magnificent design! Will tell Roman how much I love it! Yay!
Wow, that was a tough one! I had to make a few "educated guesses" to move things along. I would love to know if anyone was able to solve this with true logic & counting alone, and no guessing or inferring. Difficult but enjoyable with a rewarding image. Thanks!
It is possible to solve it without hints or guesses. It took me 42 minutes. Every time I found a square, I just had to keep checking over everything else again, and I would find another square could be completed somewhere else. Keep at it!
Not difficult but awesome
I'm surprised at all the comments - this puzzle was way, way easier than almost any 4-start puzzle I've done. Took me 38 minutes of steady work, nothing really difficult. Not at all trying to brag; I've been going through 4-star puzzles of this size and some of them make me want to pull my hair out, but not this one. I wonder if differences in the way we see things make certain puzzles easier or harder for us?

Reading the comments, I have learned not to look at the statistics as they say the average time is 15 minutes! Well, we all know how we feel about that, don't we? As was said before extremely elegant A real star of a puzzle
