Not "W", but "Ш" for "Шпион" i.e. spy in russian.

So here we get to solve (and enjoy) the puzzle AND learn a new Russian word. Good deal. Thank you Dmitriy.
Based on this can I assume that in the previous puzzle the same technique was used and that the letter "K" in the top left corner is the first letter of the Russian word for fire?
