Hmm... Not a Stove. Probably a translation thing. Looks more like a chimney with a smiley face. Pretty weird. It was hard too. I guess I don't have the techniques needed to figure this all out without hints or cheating.

If you google "Russian stove" it makes more sense. According to the comments on the Russian page the smiling Russian stove is from a fairytale called "Гуси-лебеди", which google translates to "Swan geese".

Hah! I was sure it was a clown face with an unusual hat!
Also, like BC11 I had a lot of difficulty. I'm definitely not ready for anything that rates difficulty as 5 stars. Come to think of it, I've rated many at that level, but I've never come across one yet. Has anyone seen a 5 star difficulty puzzle on this site?

There were several sections where I had to guess (ex: 1st column, rows 21-30); just too much white space for me! I did eventually work it through, but it was definitely a challenge. Interesting image - thanks Cathrine for sharing the information!

I always have difficulty with the wayward dots which meas I have to use a hint.
