Nice puzzle to solve and I needed the thumbnail to see a Mario like mushroom but I still have a hard time seeing that in the full size, so I'm not sure what I think in the end. Thank you anyhow.

Once you work any nonogram crossword on this sight, just look at the very top of the crossword, right above all the columns with the numbers. The plus and minus icons are right there, along with a timer, and a gear icon that lets you change settings. I've attached a screen shot with the plus and minus circuled.

That tends to happen when you don't log in and work on puzzles. If you log in, you should see the 'plus and minus' icons.
Of course you can't respond to comments unless you log on... The only other suggestion I have is to try a different browser.
