Or it's two streamers. A search of hot air balloon images shows that they come in many non-standard shapes.
Forgot about that. I was so puzzled. Will try to remember.

I think it's a basket attached to the balloon and it travels over mountains OR we don't see the basket but we see the fire that keeps the hot air balloon in the air . A typical Slavinella puzzle: Very challenging and a beautiful result. Thank you!
