I'm not sure how far off the ground this massive head is supposed to be, but this view of it reminds me of a stuffed version of this animal which I designed, sewed, and attempted to sell when I was a teenager. (I did sell quite a few of various creatures I made, most from patterns in magazines.) My creature was so front-heavy it would not stand on its four feet but rather on its chin and two front feet. My proposed solution was to put a rock inside the back end of the animal, but that would have made it dangerous for toddlers, who enjoy bashing one another with their toys.
