Japanese crossword «Excavator»

I dig this one. No x’s needed. I particularly enjoy these. I realize that ALL of these puzzles could be solved without using any x’s but for the more complex ones, that would require the analytical ability of a world class chess player and I can barely play checkers so it makes me feel good when I succeed in getting through a puzzle without using any x’s. So yec72, I don’t know if you purposefully create some of these puzzles for us simpletons to resolve without the x’s, but I really appreciate them. Sincere thanks to you and to the other authors who periodically make it possible for me to say yay!
