I've been trying to solve this for at least 3 days now, cleared board couple of times, still I'm stuck. I forbid myself to use any hints and to make guesses since I thought this must be solved by logical moves, no matter what.

It is never mathematically impossible. The site has an automatic solver that checks every submitted puzzle. Those that cannot be solved by logic alone will not be published. If you find a puzzle impossible, it only means there is something you have missed or a technique you have yet to master.

Not easy to solve and I have to guess many of the boxes to get the ans, and even when guessing its still hard to get the guesses correct. Would count this difficulty at least 3.5-4 stars

This is quite challenging at first. There is one tricky bit that is not obvious. When you are stuck, it might help to look at the top of the 5th column from the right: - the 3,1,3,1 groups. Hope that helps.

I got impatient and guessed a couple of times because it was really tough to get started on this one. Had some luck when I concentrated on the top row, but still... Need to come back & try again when I have no distractions!
