Japanese crossword «American gothic»

Way too many 1's.

Very awesome! I think the 1's were definitely challenging, but I like how each row, especially with the woman's shirt, slowly built up one after another, and most of the time, it felt like each part unlocked the next narrow solution path, very rewarding!

My progression was the rough outline, then the woman's front, then parts of the man's front, then the faces, then the detail below, finally finishing with the top. Very good picture choice too!
