Odd to say, but it was difficult. I spent all the 3 hints just to realise I used helps in stupid things...cute pic.

All hints suggest that there is a logical solution to it.
It ALWAYS is possible solving without hints or guesses, it's just a matter of knowing the tricks.

Lalopop puzzles are devilishly difficult but they're 100% solvable without hints or guessing. There are no puzzles on this site that can't be solved with logic alone.
I personally like how difficult they are but for some people this might be too much.
As spherical said the hints are logical and only show what you can already deduce based on what's there, so if you use a hint you can then look at what the hint gave you and figure out why that hint works. I like doing that because it helps me learn for future puzzles.
IMO part of the problem is people are bragging and/or don't want to rate small puzzles as very difficult, so they don't rate the difficulty of lalopop puzzles accurately. Personally I've done bigger puzzles, but not trickier puzzles in terms of the amount of logical deduction required to solve them. I think most of lalopop's puzzles should be rated at least difficult if not very difficult so people know what they're getting into.

I was going through the beginning very quickly, then I hit a (almost) dead end.
replyYour puzzles always have those tricky spots where you need to figure out the strategically placed X's to continue. They serve as very good training!
