The most amaright of all the amarights. Am I right?

Indeed, that is the question,
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous nonograms,
Or to take "X"es against a sea of ammonites,
And by opposing end them?

I'm not sure what's more fun -- the puzzles themselves or the comments. Hard to break this addiction, that's for sure!

Since they are extinct (which I learned by having to look this up) I'm guessing you chose the latter?

Did this puzzle twice and needed a hint both times. What really bugs me is that it was a different hint the second time, meaning I missed something I had figured out the first time...

At least you didn't have to use all 3 like I did.

The only way I learned the new skills these nonograms taught me was doing the hardest small puzzle I could find (see Tverianka), using the hints, re-reading the "Directions for Solving," and doing it over and over until I had it.
There may be people born doing nonograms, but I'm not one of them. ;)

Wow, that was harder than I thought - I even made mistakes...nice challenge!
replyBravo! A really good challenge for such a small puzzle. Thank you!
replySo hard for such a small puzzle! Thanks for the challenge.
replyI noticed all previous comments date september 11 from which I can conclude Lalopop's puzzles are in demand. And rightly so.
Sorry for being late :)

I forced myself to not use any hints and ended up spending over an hour on this one. But I solved it! it's a remarkably hard one; probably the hardest I've done. I'm not sure I can fully tell what the picture is, though. It's something of a snail or an ammonite, right?

You are right, an ammonite as the title tells.

ohh you're right. I didn't realize the title shows up once you solve the puzzle. Thanks!

This is the best kind of puzzle: small but challenging and original. Many thanks, Lalopop
replyYour puzzles are the best! Challenging without the endless boxcounting
replyI managed to finally solve this but the only way I was able to do so was just pick a square to fill out and keep filling out other squares implicated by that being filled until I eventually found one that didn't add up, and then undoing back to the starting point, then knowing that that square can't be filled out. Is this "cheating"? It is technically using the tools available but it doesn't feel very good to do this, but I felt like I needed to read way further 'moves' in my head than I was able to :P

I've only been doing nonograms for a couple weeks or so (super addictive!), so figured the 3-1/2 stars of difficulty would present a huge challenge, but I solved it very quickly and easily. Very, very enjoyable! Thank you, Lolapop!!
replyReally nice puzzle, especially for something this small. Thanks!
replyThis is maybe the most satisfying puzzle I've ever done. I managed with no hints and no guesses, but it was HARD!!! Thank you Lalopop!
