Some racehorses are staying in a stable. One of them starts to boast about his track record. “In the last 15 races, I’ve won eight of them!”
Another horse breaks in: “Well in the last 27 races, I’ve won 19!”
“Oh that’s good, but in the last 36 races, I’ve won 28!” says another.
At this point, the horses notice a greyhound, who has been sitting there listening. “I don’t mean to boast,” says the greyhound, “but in my last 90 races, I’ve won 88 of them!”
The horses are clearly amazed. “Wow!” says one, after a hushed silence. “A talking dog!”

Not really though. Horseshoes are longer than they are wide. They are symmetrical vertically, but not horizontally. And, while I'm hardly an expert in this topic, I know that isn't arbitrary - the more oval than circular shape is important for traction and supporting the right parts of the hoof.
Just choosing to make it a 14x14 puzzle means it was going to make some people go, "Huh?" from the start. Even if some people didn't quite realize why it looked off to them.

Fun to solve, but a little disappointed with picture
replyHey, guys... We don't want symmetry, right? Looking at the thumbnail, I think this is a pretty good rendition -- especially for such a small puzzle.
