Japanese crossword «Pineapple»

The leaf part was a bit challenging but the rest was too easy. Otherwise it is a good puzzle

i had to abandon this because i couldn't continue.. perhaps i have yet to learn some rules to follow..

I didn't even start this one because I was busy coming up with rules to impose on people.

Contrary to the first comment, I had a blast flying through the bottom part after painstakingly working on the top part. And I loved the "aha" moments when I had been stuck and finally saw something. Good puzzle. I don't know how the average time could be 9 minutes, but so be it.
