There's a trick with puzzles like this. All the clues are symmetrical, and since there is only one solution, the picture must be symmetrical, because if it wasn't symmetrical, the mirror image would also be a solution.

You don't need to abuse the symmetricality to solve this. Ordinary strategies work just fine. Count out the rows and columns, see which spaces are necessarily black or white, and work through.
