She reread the comment several times, trying to draw out a different conclusion than the one which immediately congealed in her mind. It couldn't be, could it? It couldn't mean, I mean "not me" couldn't be a reference to... Could it?!
Suddenly another thought burst into her brainpan, one that was just plausible enough! "What if there has been a recent Luca puzzle about this topic and it's a reference to that. Sure, that must be it! Obviously that's who they mean, by "not me."
She shuddered, as if releasing that thought had forced it to lift itself up off of her shoulders, slowly slink it's way down her body, and amble out the patio door.
