But Disney, and E. H. Shepard before (and better than) them, weren't drawing a bear. They were drawing a teddy bear--and teddies never look very bear-like.

It's almost become an onboarding process - every so often, there's a new Winnie the Pooh puzzle to teach the newest visitors of this site that at least some of the cultural references will be from somewhere between Poland and the Bering Strait. :)
