If so, I will be banned from my lack of knowledge about anime (sp?). Although I do have a fair (aghast) knowledge of Star Trek. :) Does that date me?

Saying Star Trek as if there aren't two live action and one animated, Star Trek franchise series presently streaming and another one each, of live action and animated, set to premiere in the next year - thus you expect people to assume you mean the original series (or at least Next Gen) - that dates you. :D
By the by, I haven't been an active series watcher since NextGen, but Rebecca Romijn is in the upcoming "Strange New Worlds," so I might end up checking that one out.
