Ha! I thought it was a bike helmet, but indeed it's an interesting stylized version of the subject.

Not so; some are symmetrical.
I had to look up 'SMH'. Apparently, it means 'shaking my head', which is also what the subject is doing, and what makes the image not perfectly symmetrical.
