Funny thing is he pecks on the vinyl siding of our house. Other strange fact, cactus have all kinds of holes in them put there by the same source.

I love to watch them attacking the suet. Yes, they also love the vinyl, for some strange reason.
replyThey peck to get bugs but the males also peck to attract females, I think. I assume your siding has no bugs, but it makes plenty of noise to summon the ladies.
