However what we do have plenty of is people in comments complaining every time they see a weapon

Lol true, I don't get why people are triggered by guns or even tanks in these puzzles. It's not like playing weapon nonograms are gonna make someone go violent, people's complaining way more annoying than any kind of puzzle

No one is complaining that nonograms are causing violence. The problem is this: Most nonograms are peaceful, quiet, relaxing, and sweet, and it's jarring to solve ten nonograms of animals and teapots and then suddenly see a glock. Violence is not the right "vibe" for a nonogram. I play these for a quick stress break - I don't want to think about guns.

When I see a skull and crossbones, I cringe but I don't complain. Or anything spooky or evil for that matter. Usually, when I realize what it is, I just mark it as complete and move to the next puzzle. I don't like a lot of the subjects. I don't complain, I just mark as complete and move on. Why can't you? I don't like cats and it seems like there are hundreds of cat puzzles. I am sure I would get shamed for mentioning it at every solved cat puzzle because so many people love cats. I just "Mark as complete" and move on. It is the mature thing to do.
replySeeing an owl or image of an owl is a harbinger of death to some Native American (Indian) tribes. It is extremely unlucky and brings great amounts of stress to Indians who see owls. Yet owls are still displayed here. - I do not want to think about owls. Yet I just completed a puzzle with an owl and didn't complain.
replySo why do images of pipes or cigarettes have an 18 rating? Maybe because they normalise smoking. Well, images of guns normalise shooting. At least a smoker knows the risks and is responsible for his own health. The victim of gun crime is not responsible for his wounds. If your child had been killed by a gunman rampaging in a school I think you'd change your attitude.

Car accidents kill more people than guns do. Most of these victims are innocent people who are not responsible for their wounds. Yet I see no call to ban cars. Fact: Gun crime and violence is higher in cities with the harshest gun laws. Average citizens who obey the law cannot get a gun while criminal element do not bother with the law. Better alternative is enforce laws on the books, and reopen asylums instead of trying to limit rights enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.
