Yes, in warm climate and with enough water they grow surprisingly quickly.

The prolific seans returns. And while there is something to be said for the work ethic of a creator who is able to turn out a seemingly endless supply of these puzzles, one has to ask: "why bother?" Yes, there is an instinct in some people to create. Whether that is to write or paint or build, there is a desire to express themselves through a creative outlet. To let their voices be heard in a way that other mediums simply do not allow. But being prolific comes with it, an almost unavoidable downfall: needless repetition. (1/4)

A short jump away from the world of nonograms, is the world of fiction writing. In fiction, there are numerous authors one could label as prolific, but the one I find the most suitable to my point is Stephen King. At his heyday, the man was putting out a book every year (and sometimes more under a pen-name). With this incredible output came some of his best works. But the more he penned a story every year, the more they all started to be essentially the same. The theme of alcohol and substance abuse is in most every novel King has written since the 80's. Aliens as primary (and often hidden) antagonists is a staple as well. By the time a reader reaches Mr. King's most modern works, the stories all seem to be patchworks of themes and plots he has already used to tell a better story. (2/4)

As it is with seans. Here we have another palm tree. How many times can a constructor recreate the same basic, tired design and still be praised for it? To what value is this puzzle? The constructor himself has done it before, in many sizes. And he has done it much better. So why does this piece even exist? The desire for artistic expression has been betrayed for a long while at this point. Why bother to say anything if what you're saying has been said to death? (3/4)

he reason I chose to lump together seans and Mr. King (instead of say ultra-prolific tree murder James Patterson) is that both of them have a certain flair. If someone handed me a novel, opened to the center and said "start reading" I could pick out Mr. King's unique voice in a matter of pages. As it is with seans. I sometimes go a few days between puzzle sessions, but when I finish a puzzle, before I look at the title and creator, I can tell a seans puzzle from the rest. And that is meant as both a compliment and a curse to both people. Even at his worst, Stephen King is a talented writer. And even when seans is simply regurgitating the same dozen images over and over, he has a 'voice' that is unique.
So seans, if you read this, please use that 'voice' to create something worthy of your time and talent. Otherwise, your efforts (much like the palm tree you've bestowed on us) seem to be withering... and very close to dead. (4/4)
