A larger canvas gives seans the ability to include more detail. As always, the utilization of white space gives the image more depth and a touch of realism. The subjects proportions do seem off. The rear foot is obscured by the body position and the forefoot seems unusually long. The extra pixels in this area may have been necessary for a logical solve, but if that's the case, the creator might have found more success in adding a few extra rows to fully realize his vision.
As an interesting aside for those that like to incorporate challenge into their puzzles, try solving this one using only X's. The inverse image is much more appealing than the standard, and the pixel dense original makes it fairly difficult.
