The overall shape of the image lends itself well to an entertaining solve. The obvious starting point at column 5 yields less than one might guess at first glance and requires a second foothold to get started. From there, the puzzle never forces the solver to break out the big guns logic wise, but it doesn't fall over either. The level of challenge is consistent throughout with a few areas having "could-be-this-or-that" pixels until near completion. Obvious thought has gone into the construction of this neat little balancing act.

As is usual for mindscrub, the proportions in this puzzle are excellent, but the subject's extremities lack detail. Technically, he has delivered an image that is immediately recognizable and lively. Artistically, the way the subject's (spoiler*) moves counter to the (spoiler**) is incredibly pleasing to the eye. The image itself is timely, but the overall quality is timeless.

Thanks! While detail is hard to achieve in small puzzles, I was pleasantly surprised and a bit amazed that both eyes are clearly visible. But yes, a lot of construction... first for the outline, then to the face, hair, and clothing.
