I'm seeing die + hare, e=d... Die Hard? Fun puzzle! :)
Reminds me of the old game & TV show, "Concentration." Parts of the puzzle would be revealed a little at a time, until you sounded out the answer. Also like "Mad Gab." Anybody remember these games?

My father-in-law and I watch Concentration all the time on Buzzer. It was well before my time, but he remembers watching it growing up. Recently they've been running Classic Concentration seemingly 24/7 to showcase Mr. Trebek's early work.
