Check the legend of Icabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. I believe that is a pumpkin being held aloft in one of his cold, dead hands... :-)

Wow, this is one of my favorites. It started off SOOO difficult--only little bits and pieces appearing at a time. Lots of finding X spaces, and I will confess I made a couple of guesses. The end was a lot easier, as everything suddenly started to fall into place. The picture wasn't revealed until the very last square, and then I immediately knew what it was before looking at the title. And the image itself is stunning. Great job!

I think one more pixel to add an ear would be an improvement, but regardless of otic inadequacy it's a fantastic picture. Huzzah!
