Medusa in Italian means jellyfish. And medusa is a type of jellyfish
replyJellyfish has two forms in it's life cycle, i.e. polyp and medusa. Polyp is the form in which it simply stays in place like a coral, while medusa is the form which swims around. Indeed, jellyfish is literally a child of a coral polyp.
