Oh wow, that was a GREAT twist at the end! I thought it was a cartoon Hershey's kiss, or maybe some goblin-type thing, based on the swoop of black at the top and left. The white space that causes the body to pop is just excellent and unexpected.

I love this one, great little puzzle, and a wonderfully stylised picture, conveying so much with so few pixels.
