Main visible difference is their antennae are different: crickets' antennae are longer than grasshoppers'. Same family, but quite a few small differences. https://www.amentsoc.org/insects/fact-files/orders/orthoptera.html

Based on that fact, I'd say that this is indeed a grasshopper. :)
