If you want to influence the rating, you'll have to talk to the 12,000 people who've done the nonogram 31,000 times (so far). Do a little lobbying? I suspect the Russians are swinging the vote as this is a Russian-hosted site...

12,000 is just the number of people in the tallest bar, not the total number who have done the puzzle.
