I was a stick-in-the-mud classical musician for a long time. Now I'm still a classical musician but not quite so stick-in-the-mud. I've done some catching up (msat in the late 80's: "Wow, the Beatles are actually pretty good!"), but there are still gaps. I'm also really bad at discerning lyrics in a song.
This is now very scary!
My wife travelled by train to see her friend in London (not far from Soho) yesterday & stayed over.
This morning I checked our joint bank statement (as you do when your better half is away with a bank card).
She had used it once last night - at a Chinese restaurant (and she always orders chow mein).
I will meet her off the train this afternoon - there may be an update later...
