Thought it was an iguana in the desert! This one solved in such a curious way - I kept being surprised how it came together.

Difficult for such a small puzzle. Lots of filling in one or two squares at a time. I actually needed a hint (I almost never use hints), and once I got that, the rest fell into place slowly and logically.

These Japanese crosswords are addictive! I find myself getting completely absorbed, especially when I'm stuck on a train or waiting somewhere.
