I may look older than TNG - but I had a hard newspaper round when I were a lad - 4 blocks of high rise flats - all with continuously broken lifts!
In fact I would have to get up 2 hours before I went to bed to fit everything into my day!

My childhood phone was some old pennies for the phonebox down the road, didn't even have a home phone. I guess I must be old
When I was 'younger' we communicated with two tin boxes joined together with a piece of string! Love the simple design shown here.

When my son was small, I told him that we didn’t have cell phones when I was growing up. His response was, well then how did you call people from a car?
