There aren't ugly people. Just the situation makes some people weak to think they have enough possibilities to do right things. Therefore, they do what isn't right in a manner they can. Stanley Kubrick's movie shows us an imminent future in case any confrontation will continue, especially between nuclear countries. So the problem not limited to one character but the overall society.
