The phrase I quoted "Of all the gin..." is a classic line from a classic film - The African Queen, spoken by the actor Humphrey Bogart.

The African Queen is a steamboat and your excellent picture reminded me at once of the film!

Now I understand. I've seen all the classic films.: "Gentlemen of Fortune", "Moscow does not believe in tears", "Kin-dza-dza"... But I somehow missed this one. :-) I'll take a look at my leisure. Thanks.
