It’s very difficult to make them solvable AND get them approved LOL I’ve had 5 or 6 rejected

Do they not give feedback on why a puzzle is rejected? It would be reasonable. Nonetheless many of us appreciate your contributions -I gave up on the large puzzles some time ago - I do not have the patience.

From my experience... no. They just say "Try to improve the nonogram".

No feedback, no. I usually receive “Moderators refused publication” and one time I received a note that there was too much solid color in it, so I redid the puzzle to add more white space. (#77991 is the revised puzzle)
