It's a hoard dragon with his collection of gold and riches. I couldn't see it at first either. Wings upper left and right, neck and head coming down from upper center to mid left side.

yeah admittedly it's rather lacking... had to make a lot of compromises with the images clarity in order for it to be solvable

It may not be the clearest of images, but it's a neat picture nonetheless and a good puzzle to solve.
